For twenty years, J Vineyards & Winery has been making fine sparkling wine from their vineyards in the Russian River Valley. These wines define the RRV style — a combination of balance, complexity and elegance and the classic expression of quality .
Below are two sparkling representatives that will charm you for the holidays or any time of the year. The J Cuvée 20 Brut NV is austere and classic, while the J Brut Rosé NV will teach those, whose favorite wine-color is not pink, that Rosé is beautiful and in sparkling wines, often sells at a premium for good reason.

The vineyards
J Brut Rosé NV
The vineyards
The grapes for this Brut Rosé were selected from J’s Estate Vineyards in the Russian River Valley. The vineyards yield a balanced crop of clean, flavorful grapes that exhibit bright, lush aromas.
Processing
All grapes for the J Brut Rosé are hand-harvested into small quarter-ton bins and placed as whole clusters, without destemming, into their special Coquard press for a gentle pressing cycle.
Aging
After secondary fermentation in the bottle, the wines aged for an average of 36 months in their cool cellars. Dosage was made from a blend of wood-aged, reserve wines and pure cane sugar. The wine is aged for another six months before release from the cellars.
Tasting Notes
This J Brut Rosé sparkles with a luminous cool pink hue and exudes delicate aromas of strawberry, nectarine and juicy red apples. On the palate, the wine opens with flavors of cherry, blood orange, citrus peel and tropical star fruit that are underlined by a bright acidity that keeps the overall impression delightfully fresh. The wine engages the entire palate with balance, wrapped in a refined body of elegance and effervescence, ending with a lively and lingering finish.
