With restaurants around the country reacting to the state of the economy by offering special deals and menus, the iconic Spice Market in New York City has a number of affordable menu options that will satisfy any discerning diner without compromising the Jean-Georges’ experience of culinary excellence.

The signature Spice Market tasting menu offers five courses of 10 flavors for $48 per person, which makes a night out easily less than $150 per couple including wine. Highlights include Cod with Malaysian Chili Sauce and Thai Basil, Red Curried Duck, Ginger Fried Rice, and Spiced Chicken Samosas with Cilantro Yogurt.

A special $78 five course tasting menu (next page) will be available for
Valentine’s Day in addition to the regular a la carte menu.

Finally, Spice Market is extending its New York City restaurant week menu through Friday, February 27th, available 6 days a week from Sunday to Friday (excluding Saturday). The dinner menu includes highlights such as Char Grilled Chicken with Kumquat Lemongrass Dressing & Salmon Sashimi with Golden Garlic, Lemon and Soy. Bento box lunches are $24.07 and dinners are $35.
