At Lello Arpaia’s hidden gem of a restaurant, Fiorini, it’s $42 for four Thanksgiving courses, infused with a touch of his native Italy courtesy of butternut squash filled ravioli with light brown butter sauce and shaved Parmigiano cheese as an appetizer choice. The other is roast corn soup with crab meat. Two salads – one spinach-centric, the other arugula based – compete for second course palates. For the main event it’s turkey, of the free range variety with sage stuffing, fresh cranberry compete, whipped sweet potatoes, harvest wild rice with mushrooms and honey glazed carrots. And a plethora of pies are on tap for dessert.

For the city’s best Thanksgiving bargain offering, Petite Abeille with its family style service of roast turkey with chestnut sage stuffing, sweet potato puree complete with marshmallows, Brussels sprouts (of course from this popular Belgian boite), corn bread and pumpkin pie for juts $25 for adults, $15 for kids under 12. And given the family style service, there’s the promise of seconds being included.

Pera Mediterranean Brasserie puts an Eastern Mediterranean twist on its first Thanksgiving offering at $49 for a three course celebratory meal –
pumpkin flatbread with house-cured lamb prosciutto as an appetizer option and honey-lavender glazed leg of lamb, stuffed with seasonal dried fruits, pine nuts and rosemary, accompanied by feta-cheese gratin as an alternative to the more traditional roast organic turkey, caramelized Brussels sprouts, chestnut and sausage stuffing, cranberry sauce and gravy, also on the menu.
And should nothing on the fixed price menu appeal, the restaurant’s regular a la carte menu loaded with intriguing mezes, salads and grilled meat and seafood dishes will also be available.
