The 2008 Polo Field Vineyard Petite Sirah, Reserve is an intricate, finely structured wine. Blackberry pie and currant aromas on the nose lead to a hint of leather in the background. The finish is silky, smoky, and long which will only get smoother as the wine matures over time. While ready to drink now, this wine is age-worthy and can be held for upwards of five years.
Gold, Best of Class, California State Fair 2012 Gold, Pacific Rim Wine Competition 2012
In honor of the 50th anniversary of Petite Sirah, Concannon’s winemaking team has crafted this excellently structured wine from a single vineyard block that’s known for producing wine with concentrated flavors and rich, supple tannins. Reminiscent of sunny afternoons watching a polo game, this elegant wine has a complex palate of blackberry pie and leather that will stand the test of time.

Absolutely outstanding and tastes much more expensive than it’s price. Would love to taste it in 3 years. Rich, but not overpowering.
